It’s that time of year again when we get to be humbled by the souls that surround us, yes it’s time for the International Women’s Day 1BTN Takeover. 35 hours of incredible female, trans and non-binary talent (oh, and and 1 hour of the Wildblood and Queenie Show!) Playing the music by the incredible female, trans and non-binary artists who inspired us to get all-inclusive with the disco and house tunes that truly changed our lives together.

We are honoured to be part of such an incredible 1BTN fundraising event and are forever grateful for that thing called radio bringing the best kind of divas into our world. 40 presenters, 36 hours, 1 voice, 1BTN. Just as it should be. See you at the front/ dial/online/ streaming thing.

1BTN International Women’s Day Takeover will be fundraising for both 1BTN radio and RISE. RISE stands for Refuge, Information, Support and Education; their strategic mission is freedom from abuse and violence. 1BTN is Brighton & Hove’s acclaimed not-for-profit radio station and music platform with the voices of female, trans and non-binary presenters, DJs and artists at the core of our broadcast values.
