Wild Fruit is my clubbing family. And most years we have a blow out. With thousands of Proud clubbers. Fuelled by love, passion and a desire to raise awareness, funds for local LGBT charities and the canvas roof. We’ve not done it for a couple of years but now we’re back, on the park at the heart of Brighton Pride, doing the thing we do best. The line up is the best yet with Fatboy Slim, The Freemasons, Steve Pitron, Mark Fierce Angel Doyle, King K, Dulcie Danger, Lil Alex and a certain B2B DJing duo called Neil Duffie and Kate Wildblood.
I’ve had the pleasure of dropping a few tunes in the Wild Fruit tent over the years and its been blinding. The goosebumps, the grins, the gloriousness of it all. One afternoon. Under canvas. Playing the tunes I love to a crowd I love, friends and family beside me, all of us way too happy for a Saturday afternoon. You must get the proud picture by now. I’m excited, you need to get excited. Wild Fruit are back where they belong and it is going to be fabulous darling!
