So here we go. The missus and mine’s tunes of 2013. All wonders. All very 2013. And now all yours. Its not about the mastery of the tune makers but the memories. Summertime happiness. Saucepots on the deck that I couldn’t get enough of. Afterparties we’ll not forget (and one that turned so odd I wish I could). Messing with Marlon. Tuning into Lee. Being cheeky to Charles and nodding away to Neal. Getting all political with Pablo and kicking Putin’s arse with Karol and the Brighton Pride crew. Graduating with the glorious ones. Bugging the glorious boys at Audio. (Matt I owe you a drink!). Losing it as we (future) boogied. Proud of the Sean, Kris and Seve. Watching the local heroes soar. Grinning too much on the Audio terrace with my Queenie. Finding more than bangers and baps on the DSD menu as AJ, Chris and Lulu delivered a summer of love.

Loving the Italo piano. Happy that Subb-an’s Mirrors reflected our wonderful year. Connecting with DeMarzo. Queenie determined that her regal jubilee status made her Bigger Than Prince. New mates and old on dancefloors divine. Brighton Proud wonders and prouder parties. Waiting all my Pride for a Wild Fruit tent bootie that raised the roof. Losing it to Thomas’s strings because Love Is Love. Proudly fanning Nath and Nicki. Sweet secret garden parties at Neighbourhood. Shimmering with the Sundae sweeties. Celebrations with Ash, Clare, the wedding gang and a decidely dodgy log cabin. Swaggering to Sneak with the husbands. Remembering a gentleman we’d lost and finding solace with Summer as she sang of Sunset People.
