GScene’s February Wonders

If music is the food of love, turn it up! Yes its time to fall for some sweethearts this February as we select some fine spring action for you. First up are the seductive R&B, new Jack swing and funk sounds of Onra and his charming new album Nobody Has To Know on All City Records. One for the lovers. As is the deep house focussed Kindisch label’s latest release from Art of Life as they dare to deliver a Poets Dream.

You can live your dream on the dance floor thanks to Big Miz‘s Build / Destroy on Dixon Avenue Basement Jams as they ensure the sweat is had or head over to ON IT Recordings Retrospective Collection as they deliver the goods with some oh so addictive grooves. And if you need to feel the love a little longer then Get Physical presents Cocada mixed by Leo Janeiro will see you right. All night. As will the fine tunes gathered to keep you dancing courtesy of the Wankelmoods Vol. 3 on Poesie Musik. Tunes as fabulous as the name suggests.

As for our wonders of the month? NYMA’s new album XYXX on Its All In You has our hearts a fluttering whilst our addiction to compilations continues ensuring be it The Bunker New York label’s latest adventure as Mike Servito, Justin Cudmore and friends keep it underground and undulating with 15 Years of The Bunker, the sublimely twisted house of New Shoots on Lo Recordings or the delectable Irish disco of Quare Groove Vol. 1 on All City Records, we want our artists various and voluptuous this month. But then don’t we always? Enjoy.
