Decent at Xmas. The only way to truly sparkle this festive season as Wildblood and Queenie return to Brighton’s Tempest Inn for another glittering session of decent disco destined to keep things toasty this Christmas. With nothing but disco, disco re-edits, disco house and more disco on the menu Decent will deliver more joy than Santa on a homerun. So elf yourself to a perfect seasonal Saturday night out, grab your stockings and prepare to get stuffed – with all the finest feelgood fundraising festive grooves a seasonal party-goer could ever want at Christmas time.
Decent at The Tempest is a fundraiser for The Trussell Trust’s Whitehawk Foodbank in Brighton. One in fifty UK households used a food bank in 2018-19 with Christmas and New Year one of the toughest times of the year for many to put food on their tables and ensure loved ones have a happy Christmas. The Trussell Trust’s network of foodbanks offers practical help without judgement to those needing support due to in-work poverty or hardship caused by the DWP’s broken benefits system. But we can make a difference to lives this December, the season of goodwill to all, by supporting The Whitehawk Foodbank to deliver hope to people across our city.
Decent at Tempest on Saturday December 21st is the third in series of fundraising parties from Wildblood and Queenie. Playing disco, dancing with friends, fundraising for local, national or international causes. After 27 years DJing together, we know it’s not about the wages or the rider or the glamour (was it ever?!). It’s about giving back. So, come join us and let’s do the Decent thing together. To date we’ve raised over £350 for the Rainforest Alliance and The Brighton Rainbow Fund and can’t wait to raise even more this December as we support The Whitehawk Foodbank and Trussell Trust.
Decent at The Tempest. Saturday 21st December 9pm-late. The Tempest Inn, 159-161 Kings Road Arches, Brighton BN1 1NB. DJs Wildblood and Queenie all night long – with added little helpers. Free entry all night long. Fundraising for The Whitehawk Foodbank – donations welcome on the night or online here.
