2019 has been one of those golden years. A year so golden Bowie would have been proud. A year filled with love and tunes and more disco than a fifty-year-old could ever need. If this was my best yet decade I made sure it was decadent indeed and plan to continue to do so this New Year’s Eve as Wildblood and Queenie (that’ll be me and the missus) join a dazzling line-up of diamond DJ darlings behind the decks at Brighton’s divine Patterns.

A night filled with stars worthy of Pattern’s sparkling Art Deco foundations, NYE at Patterns will include the world renown DJ and producer Joy Orbison, the genre-busting delight that is Eclair Fifi, the marvellous Mehtola, the epic talents of Momo and the ever handsome, ever techno-tingling Charles Green (be still my four-to-the-floor beating heart).

And as if that wasn’t reason enough to raise one’s NYE glad-rag hands in the air, the collective we love to call home, the sublime club night Wild Family will be keeping upstairs at Patterns jumping till dawn with the ever grinning (and sartorially sublime) DJ duo Wild Fantasy, the pert groove master DJ Parry and two disco devotees called Wildblood and Queenie on deck duties.

So that’s you and us sorted for NYE. A night of us playing in a building as old as our combined ages (!), a night in a beloved building ready to deliver another session of cherished memories. A night of you dancing in the glow of Brighton’s best of nights. A night of us keeping it golden together. See you at the (sea)front.
