Wildblood and Queenie’s 1BTN Boxing Day Kitchen Disco

Everything may be a tad different this year but there is one thing you always rely on to be exactly the same the Christmas time – the camp excitement two old ladies who really should know better will feel when broadcasting live from the 1BTN bunker for their annual Wildblood and Queenie’s Boxing Day Disco.

Yes, happy the day after the day before or Boxing Day as its was once known as in a parallel universe, where families and friends could be together, and parties were aplenty. But fret not dear listener, we are here to cheer with three hours of pure kitchen disco dancing joy as we banish those lockdown blues (the sequel’s sequel) and bring the sprinkle to your festive holidays with plenty of singalong 24 reindeer carrot disco classics. Plus we’ve our four-legged disco DJ apprentice Archie on work experience for the day so what could possibly go wrong? I mean, 2020’s gone to plan so far, right?

So join me and Queenie this Boxing Day and let’s make ’tis the season to be dancing, whatever it’s like outside. Be you working on the warehouse floor, swearing all day in a delivery van, cuddled up on that sofa or cooking up a storm for your very different Christmas lockdown gathering, we intend to bring a grin to those lovely masked faces of yours. Socially distanced, of course.
