It’s been a year of reunions and reconnections in Brighton as the much-promised dancefloors and communal spaces we missed in lockdown finally get to flourish into their full glory. Soho House’s Brighton Beach House is no exception. A unique new addition to our cityscape, this beachside must-see, must-be members club has finally opened its doors delivering a perfectly Brighton-centric sense of seaside sass and panache. Add curator Gemma Rolls-Bentley’s The Brighton Beacon, a collection of works by LGBTQIA+ artists from Brighton and beyond, the David Shrigley designed banana cool pool, a seaside terrace view to swoon for and a creative space like no other and you have a happening here right at home. Just how we like it. So it is with great pleasure and a grin too wide we get to announce our Brighton Beach House DJ debut this Friday. An extended 5 hour Wildblood and Queenie set destined to nod our sequined cap at every aspect of the genre we love.
