Be blessed. Pay it back. It’s real simple. Playing other people’s tunes to other people dancing has always been the honour of my life and to do so for a decent cause always brings that extra grin. And so it shall be on Saturday December 9th when Queenie and me will be joining Last Night A DJ Saved My Life’s Set For Love at Brighton’s Block Bar. Joining DJs Ellie Talebian, IDONTPLAYHOUSE aka Joey Ward, Markus Saarländer, MYSD aka Lisa Douglas, Nick Titchener, NJ Strange, and Southside (DJ Lewe/Aaron D./ Barney Osborn). Told you we were blessed. See you at the front.
Set For Love is a fundraising night for LNADJ’s Get Equipped – enabling them to continue working in a special educational needs school supporting children and young people on their journey to express themselves and their individuality through the power of music. Ensuring life sounds better with neurodivergent creative talent and that talent is understood, nurtured and celebrated. Something this ND soul would have loved growing up. LNADJ will also be fundraising to help take Get Equipped into a supported housing unit for young people facing homelessness in Brighton and Hove as part of their activity provision.
So you know what to do. Turn up, donate, dance, and make a difference. This thing we call house really can change lives. See you at the front.
