I did a radio show. It was alright. Actually, it was one of my favourites as I rounded up 2023 and our 30th anniversary year of celebrations, reflecting on the three decades of tunes and disco action Queenie and I have been lucky enough to enjoy together. There was lots of love and lots and lots of house music. Soulful house. Funky house. Deep house. Jacking house. Hello Nana House. Right proper house. With flashbacks and throwbacks and memories that have lasted a lifetime, it was a true celebration of that love affair I’ve been lucky enough to be part of since 1993. This one was for Queenie, for the moments on the dancefloor I’ll never forget, for moments off I’ll always cherish (and occasionally blush about).
