Due to budget restraints during a seemingly never-ending cost of living crisis 2024 has seen Queenie’s job as Brighton Pride forecaster amagulated with B&H’s Heath and Safety department – mince division. Whilst there is some sign of a scorchio forecast for the Sunday Sundae Patterns terrace, Queenie has become rather preoccupied with checking the bounce-ability of our city. Like she does. Enjoy.

However you do your Brighton Pride this year play safe, be nice and if you can bung a fiver in someone’s bucket that’s marvellous (if that bucket benefits one of Brighton and Hove’s LGBTQI+ community groups, charities or voluntary organisations even better). Pride is forever better when it has a purpose. Make sure your Pride purpose is making somebody else’s life in our glorious city better. See you at the front.

Wildblood and Queenie will be playing disco and dancing like no one is watching for Brighton Pride 2024 on Friday at Dykes on Decks @ The Tempest, Saturday at Brighton Beach House 1pm-6pm, Love Is The Message @ Bison Bar 5pm-11pm and Sunday at Pride Village Party outside Patterns / Charles St 8pm-9pm closing set (gulp!) and Sunday Sundae Pride Reunion at Patterns 9.30pm-11pm.
