Wildblood & Queenie’s Home Service @ Brighton’s Patterns is set to keep Sunday’s sweet as we celebrate the grooves that make us grin. Whether by warming the cockles or soundtracking the sunshine, deck connoisseurs Wildblood and Queenie will ensure your Sunday is set sweet each and every month.
A vintage Sunday soundtrack of decent electronica, slo-mo, disco, soul, funk, house, 80s electro and odd pop. Guest DJ ‘Local Love’ slots from Brighton club land icons, DJs and industry heroes will celebrate the musical loves and taste only life in a seaside town can bring.
With added Dog Haus hotdogs, 2-4-1 cocktails and craft beers plus live cartooning to draw out the pen and ink star in all of us
Home Service’s launch party guest DJ James Kendall has been writing about music for two decades and DJing for all of that time. He’s played in pretty much every club in Brighton over the last 15 year, including a couple of three hour slots as sole support for 2ManyDJs. He spent 12 years writing about dance music for DJ Magazine, and eight years writing about Brighton for Source, of which he was owner and editor. He’s promoted a variety of loss-making nights, but gave up promoting after a record breaking gig with Tom Middleton that earned him back his money. He’s partial to house music, synth pop and anything produced by James Murphy. Home Service are thrilled to welcome James back to the decks as he emerges from his sound semi-retirement to impress the locals once again.
