50 Tunes For 50 Years : Cerrone’s Look For Love

It’s been a while since I indulged in this 50 Tunes For 50 Years malarky. I’ve been too busy enjoying my 50th year, to be honest. (Who knew seven months ago it would work out this good?) But with Brighton Pride on its way and it being 50 years since the Stonewall riots that enabled me to live the life I live so gloriously, it seemed only appropriate that I got back onboard the tune tune train.

So here is another disco tune I cannot be without. Strings and tings of the queer kind as the master of all things French and disco Cerrone delivers a goosebump generator of the epic kind. An instrumental that can move me to tears, a 12″ that brings joy to my soul as it removes all Wildblood Asperger’s inhibitions and unites the dancefloor with one sensational spin, Look For Love has me right in the disco pants. Supernature in sound, Golden in touch and forever keeping me in paradise with his love in C minor, Cerrone has made my job as a DJ easy. Play this and everyone loves you. Play this and we are all 1970s French disco gods. For one glorious disco night only. Till I play it again. And again. And again.
