There has been a lot of talk in my head lately about the r-word. Retirement. Hanging up the headphones, saying farewell to the overload that can be life around the decks. Then We Are Love happened. Love is the Message happened. Saturday night in the woods happened. The r-word became reset. The doubt dismissed. The love for that thing I do with tunes standing beside the love of my life ignited again. To the souls who supported, danced and loved it I salute you. That short time DJIng for you in the woods made me fall in love with playing tunes all over again. Made my wonky autistic wiring feel right. Who knew playing dirty disco, jacked up glittering house with a little Club Tropicana and bouncing up and down in the Love Bug to a crowd of overheating menopausal women, queer darlings, 1BTN fam and our disco dearest would be so much fun. Till next time my disco sweetpeas, till next time, my how glad I am you helped me decide there will be a next time.
