We love Sunday Sundae

Like all good autistic souls, I can take a while to recharge. Like all good autistic souls, I can take time to crack on with my to-do list. Sharing the Sunday Sundae Pride Reunion love is no chore though. A joyful, wonder of a day spent with new friends and old. Wowing at the brilliance of those I am blessed to call friends, on and off the decks. Revelling in the love felt on the dancefloors and terrace of Patterns. Thank you to Paul Kemp, Dulcie Weaver and the Brighton Pride and PVP team for allowing Queenie and me to still fly the Sunday Sundae sequined flag. You make two old disco queers very happy. To the team at Patterns – thank you for always having our back. Roo, Apol, Roxy, Jack, Adrian and every dancing darling behind the bar and on the door, thank you for making 10 Marine Parade our home. To Edna and Ms Bunches – all the love always. And to every beaut who joined us on the dancefloor, hugged the social anxiety out of me and made Queenie and I remember this is our summer of love – thank you. Somehow 30 years on we are still Wildblood and Queenie but you as always were absolutely fucking fabulous!
