Wow. One day all basements will be this joyful. Love and thanks to the dancefloor at Disco Fiasco at Dalston Superstore for making our weekend pop with queer joy, pure queer joy. Turns out four hours of disco bangers in the heat of summer was just what doctor love ordered. There is something mighty special about being trusted by a promoter to headline with our disco take on life. The space to play, to be, to celebrate those disco forefathers that shaped our nightlife. Something mighty real. We’re still grinning, our souls still dancing, our hearts full. Thank you to Dan Beaumont for the invite, Michelle Manetti for the DJ references and to the team at 117 Kingsland High Street who made these two disco elders way too happy. It was night to remember – red smoke, sweat, glitterball, poppers, snogs, high heels, lippy and love.
