Feeling the pinch: The Brighton Austerity Ball 2011

Yes you read it right. We’re DJing in our library!! Friday 25th March and the clocks go back as the organisers of the Lavender Ball bring you the LGBT Austerity Ball. They are promising a trip back in history as they recreate an underground LGBT venue. Dress in your most distressed to impress! Make do and mend, recycle and recline. Queen Josephine and I are on the decks doing our late night disco thing whilst live entertainment comes courtesy of Nicky Mitchell -the All New HEPKAT HUSSARS (Kroonkat lounge, Swingtime Springtime), and Trudi Styles with The Piano Man.

PLUS – and this is a bit special – Queen Josephine will be singing live with the HEPKAT HUSSARS. Apart from being Brighton’s Queen DJ our Jo can also knock out a fine vocal having worked with Goloka, Xi-Xi, Sunshine Sisters, Pete Hayward and more so take this chance to hear what makes Wildblood melt! Add the fact this is much needed fundraiser for Brighton & Hove LGBT Switchboard & Mind Out and there’s no excuse.
