This Sunday Wildblood & Queenie’s Home Service returns to Patterns for another session of tunes to make you wiggle the last of the weekend away. Yes if you want your Sunday evening soundtrack vintage with loads of disco, electronica, funk, soul, 80s electro, downlow house and odd pop in the mix, Home Service at Sunday Social Club upstairs at Brighton’s Patterns will deliver.
This month’s guest DJ is local heroine Kathy Caton, the Radio Reverb Out In Brighton treasure and Independent Pink List regular who really should have a B&H bus named after her. A tireless lover of all things Brighton – including her own distilled and nationally acclaimed Brighton Gin, Kathy has continuely kept us contented, giggling and oh-so-impressed with her sound adventures. Be it her tireless support of the LGBT community, her avid Archers addiction, those numerous awards (she’s gonna need a bigger shelving unit), or her unending services to the German nation, Kathy Caton will delight and charm you as she joins Home Service residents Kate Wildblood and Queen Josephine for a very special Sunday Social by the seaside.
Add live Ouch House DIY cartooning with Queen Josephine, hot dogs, fries and sides from The Dog Haus served till 10pm, 2-4-1 selected cocktails, £3 pint of Amstel or Pattern’s generous buy 2 large glasses of wine and get the rest of the bottle free offer and you have Sunday sorted. It’s time to get serviced.
