So we had a ball last time we were in the 1BTN bunker as we delivered two hours of upfront house, classic wonders and delightful disco. We felt the love thanks to Paradise, got it on with 40 Thieves, sent family our best courtesy of Carol Williams, continued our love affair with Toy Tonics, did a little gardening with Minnie Ripperton, celebrated 20 years of Nordic Trax, took a trip with Futureboogie Recordings, spun over and over thanks to Horse Meat Disco‘s latest compilation on Z Records, mis-pronounced Yann Polewka‘s latest Roots For Bloom slice of french magic, got a little too over excited about a certain Queen Bee, had plenty of Tom Tom love action, felt the funk thanks to the Constellation Orchestra, buzzed on Funky Espresso, danced till we could dance no more with Bohannon, had a Soul Love session of do-be-do run-run-run, felt the thrill of, er, Thrilogy, remembered dancefloors past with Kings of Tomorrow, went down to Sue Avenue and quenched our thirst with Lumoon + Rob!n’s Gin’To EP.
